MARHSHWOOD LITTLE HAWKS

Welcome to Marshwood Little Hawks 2nd & 3rd Tackle, Pee Wee Tackle , JV/Varsity Tackle & Cheerleading Official Web Site! Our website is the official Marshwood Sport Community. One stop sports location!

The Little Hawks Football Organization is a member of the Southern Maine Youth Football League. 

The purpose of the Little Hawks Football Organization is to  establish, in our youth, the ideals of good sportsmanship and conduct; to provide a program that is healthy, enjoyable and a means of developing the fundamental skills and knowledge of football and cheerleading; to instill a spirit of team play, discipline, camaraderie and basic educational values.

Participants include boys and girls in grades K-8th, inclusive, from the townships of Eliot and South Berwick, Maine and any town not currently offering a similar program.  The Little Hawks compete with their peers from other communities and have a chance to form friendships and associations with their counterparts that could last them throughout their school years and beyond.

Little Hawks is a 100% volunteer organization that has room for you! We are made up of parents and friends of our boys and girls.  Your skills are never too small or unappreciated.

2011 Football Season

The 7th & 8th grade teams are in full swing! they began practicing the begining of August. For game schedules please refer to www.smyfl.com

The Pee Wee program has begun and Mmarshwood will be hosting this year's SMYFL Jamboree on Saturday, September 10th at the Marshwood High School. Please refer to the SMYFL website for game schedule.
 
 
2nd & 3rd Tackle
The 2nd and 3rd Grade Tackle program was a huge success last fall. We entered our players in the Tackle Tournament in Portland playing 16 2nd/3rd Grade teams from around the state. ECSD to run Flag
The Eliot Community Service Department has taken over the Flag Program. Due to the amount of time we have devoted to expanding our tackle program we didn't want our Flag program to suffer. Therefore the ECSD has agreed to take over and expand the flag program. For information please contact Kyle at ECSD directly for Flag registration and information.
